In an attempt to make the Tring Town Council’s community space at New Road’s ex-allotment site more floristically diverse, a small group of us raked off the cut grass clipping from mowing done earlier in October. Raking off cut grass reduces the nutrient level in the soil and impedes the vigour of bigger plants that outcompete the flowers we hope to see. Look out for wildflowers in this area next Spring and Summer.
