Launch of Great Big Green Week in Tring

In Great Big Green Week from 10th to 18th June 2023, Tring Team Parish (5 Churches – St Peter & St Paul in Tring and 4 village churches) are inviting people to explore the churchyards and record wild flowers and wildlife seen.  There will be paper reporting sheets, but people may also use the iNaturalist app on their phones.  Vicky Duxbury is running a training event for a few people on the use of this app on Friday 2^nd June 6 – 7 pm in St Peter & St Paul churchyard.  And, in preparation for her ‘Nature Challenge’ in Great Big Green Week, she is holding a drop-in session for members of the public in the churchyard, to help them with recording wildlife using the iNaturalist app.  This will be on Saturday 3^rd June 2.30 – 4.00 pm.  Ideally, people will need to have downloaded the iNaturalist app beforehand. Tring’s new mayor, Nigel Nutkins, is launched the event at the Farmers Market.
